We've created an online marketplace that mimics the fleamarket experience, you can buy and sell products at a flat rate or allow haggling with customers. Each user gets a store at www.uask.com/membername for free.

Let me know what you guys think, the usability of the site is still a work in proress.

I like it.
It's a little wide for my screen, but it's a neat concept.
I tried something like this a few years ago, but the biggest problem I had was marketing. Making something like this work is almost a catch 22.

You need users to use the site in order to have things on the site to attract users. If I had it to do over again, I would look very seriously into print advertising for a project like this.

So is it live?

Yah the site's usable, it's just me and a couple friends building the project on our free time. So it'll be interesting how the site evolves...

Yah the biggest issue right now is... how do you attract buyers without sellers and vice versa... it's a tough hill to climb, but that's half the fun.

So yah feel free to setup a store... and let us know if you have any issues.

Site homepage is dead for the moment, looks like a battle of PHP required's or something.
