Hi,

My latest project has been revamping a Photo Album and I wanted to post it here to see how I'm doing so far. The username and password for the admin panel are test.

The big things I have added:
Description text
Price Text (the link doesn't go anywhere now)
Watermarking
proprtional thumbnails

they can all be turned on or off in then admin panel.

All input is welcome

Well while I was fixing some of the code, I left an extra " in the image soruce and it really messed up the display in IE, but it's all fixed now.

I see that people have been viewing my post (I know it doesn't mean there following the link) So it is either so bad that no one wants to say anything or it's ok and there's just not a lot to say.

Please, I'm trying to do good work and the best way is to have others critique it.

I looked at your post but haven't had enough time to put a critique together. I got as far as running it through the validator so you could start with fixing those problems.

Other immediate impressions are that the banner logo looks blurred and/or over-stretched and the green border around the images on the home page isn't very nice.

Sorry wasn't trying to sound bitchy or whiny... just tired I guess...

anyway, I don't know why I keep forgeting the validator and the DOC type. I'm working on fixing the validator errors now, thanks.

Hi Eric,

I'd have a designer give the site a look. There's a lot of recommendations they'd make, like adding a background, using something to frame the pictures a little better than the full-bright embossed border, that sort of thing.

Hey SoopahMan.. Sorry I never responded to your input.. but hey it has only been 9 months.. Yikes!!

I have been working on this off and on since then. I have set it up so that the control panel opens in a new window. Have made it so that you can trun on and off the description and price display, which also removes the input fields in the control panel.

Features that I want to add is for comments to be added and for site background images to be controled by the control panel. If anyone is up for another look... the button for the control panel is lower left corner, user name and password are test.
