There's a great interview that popped up on Slashdot recently with a guy who ran a usability lab on what causes users to visit and use spoofed websites. The observations include some of those really great kind where someone came to a completely logical, completely wrong explanation for something, like: "one regular Firefox user told me that he thought the yellow background in the address bar was an aesthetic design choice of the website designer."
