I like the way it picks up XP styles now. I remember someone posting a way to open links in tabs instead of new windows with the Prefbar installed. If I could only find it.....

Hopefully the full release will let me download now. When I was testing the beta of 1.2 it wouldn't download anything. It was the first time I ever went back down to an older version. Not living on the bleeding edge isn't fun.
Cheers

Yeah, what a drag. I got the news about 15 minutes after I'd finished downloading and installing 1.2. Guess I'll stick with it and hope it doesn't take long to push Moz 1.2.1 out the door.

The bug isn't that serious, but does need to be fixed.

Mozilla 1.2.1 is out -- the FTP site was swamped yesterday, hopefully I'll be able to download it today.

That's definitely annoying, but whatever. I've been using 1.2 for weeks without a problem... .

It's definitely better than any Moz before. Its performance is slowly improving and of course, I love all the tabs, customizability, etc, etc.

Pardon me, but how do you figure that? 1.2 was only released about 10 days ago.

Never mind, I guess I wasn't thinking about the pre-release versions.

OK OK, a week and a half :P hehe - yeah I've used 1.2a and b both before the "final" version was released.

But still, no problems :O) It does still hate Flash though. If it ever crashes, it's always the Flash plugin that did the job.

I don't have Flash installed for Moz, nor do I intend to install it.

(I'm not anti-Flash, I'm just pro-markup.)

So does that mean Flash goes in the MS/ASP camp rather than the LAMP/Mozilla group?<flaming /> Smile

No, just that it goes in the binary group, rather than the markup/style/scripting camp. Cool

(In the case of Flash, I'd rather see widespread adoption of SVG instead.)

I agree about looking forward to the implementation of SVG. It was exciting when I first heard that it uses a formula to create images rather than a list of all the dots, meaning the image can be whatever size you want. But that was a while back; any idea about SVG's future?

So why would you not want to install Flash? I'm just curious, maybe because I have an older version of a Flash player and don't plan to upgrade. (I must be in that markup camp too- I'm pretty content with my 3rd-grade-level graphics and prefer to spend my time learning html, css, js instead.)
